Located in the heart of downtown in Kerrville’s first federal building, the US Post Office, exhibits change regularly and feature more than 600 member artists in a variety of mediums. KACC is home to the Texas Furniture Makers Show, held annually in November and December. Numerous classes and workshops are held throughout the year for adults and young people. Be sure to visit the wonderful gift shop full of one of a kind handmade items made by member artists.

Explore the beautiful store, learn about the company’s history, and see artwork and designs commissioned in years past, such as the papal communion vessels and pieces of jewelry taken to the moon by astronauts. We highly recommend experiencing Gibson’s Discount Center. It’s been around since the mid-1960s and it’s one of the last of its kind. An old-fashioned general store with old fashion values, Gibson’s has earned a reputation—just ask anyone and they’ll say, “Gibson’s has that.” Besides having just everything, their incredible Sporting Goods department has a great selection of hunting and fishing gear, camping supplies, and firearms.
